DDS75-NB CoAP and Thingsboard Cloud

Hi all

I would like to set up a DDS75-NB to talk to Thingsboard Cloud via CoAP

I am quite lost in the dragino documents, there are so many variants of similar documents in the wiki with different instructions...

Mainly the following questions:

• Which AT+PRO parameters? (1,5 for json?)
• Where can I find the corresponding CoAP decoder? It seems there are decoders provided in the wiki for MQTT and UDP but not CoAP
• Setting up the CoAP integration in Thingsboard seems to work as described in the wiki, but do I need to set up a device too (as described for MQTT)? Or are the devices created automatically?
• Setting up the DDS75-NB seems to work (although the parameters in the wiki are wrong: it seems to be a BC660K, so only AT+URI1 must be set), but I cannot see any telemetry data in the CoAP integration. Maybe due to the missing decoder? (see above)

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, Martin,

• Yes, you can use AT+PRO=1,5  //Use COAP Connection & Json Payload.
• ThingsBoard can directly use Json format uplink, no need to decode.
  
• You can create integrations directly by following the steps in the user manual, and a device is automatically identified and created after a successful uplink.
  
• -NB/NS products and -CB/CS products have a slightly different command for setting CoAP options.

-NB products use BC660K modules:

-CB products use BG95-NGFF modules (BG95-M2/M3): 

To avoid misleading customers again, we have removed the BG95-M2 module from the NB configuration instructions and only refer to the BC660K module used in the -NB products.

Example:

Configure the device:  

AT+PRO=1,5

AT+SERVADDR=int.thingsboard.cloud,5683

AT+URI1=11,38,"i/e08a3f88-d285-ee34-b592-a9ebc78e375c"
