All of the sudden, the dropbox icon has disappeared from my mac menu bar. It happened a few weeks ago, but I see that everything would synch up by seeing the green check mark appear. But today, some files don't seem to synch up as it shows the little blue circle. So I am not sure what is going on.

I am not sure how to close it. I've logged out from the browser. I've removed the app from my sidebar. I tried to move the app to trash and got the same message again. I turned off my computer. Now I really don't know what to do.

Thanks for your reply. But I don't understand what you mean. What are you referring to when you say "force quit" the "app". Can you share some screenshots of what you mean? I access my dropbox from Finder. I don't have an app open .

In order to fix this, would you mind opening the 'Activity Monitor' utility on your computer, normally located under Applications > Utilities, to see if there are any other processes associated with Dropbox that may be preventing the app from being removed from your device?

Once you have launched 'Activity Monitor', if you see any items that refer to Dropbox, please click on the line that references the process to select it and then click on the 'X' at the top left corner of the screen.

I have the same problem (icon is missing from Mac menu bar). Actually it intermittently appears (though rarely), but has been missing more 90% of the time last few months. I forced quit through Activity monitor (as otherwise couldn't delete because of "open" error message previously referred to). I then deleted the app (from Finder> Applications), and re-installed. But still no Dropbox icon in menu bar!

I don't know how to confirm current Dropbox version, but I deleted and re-downloaded Dropbox today, in an attempt to fix the issue, so I assume that would be the most updated app. Is that not a correct assumption?

During one of those moments when the icon briefly appeared last week in the menu bar, I was able to get info on Dropbox version by clicking on the icon,c and took a screenshot. It was "v184.3.6480", with a tab on the bottom "leave Beta", which I must've signed for before. Again, I a assume that delete/redownload today may have updated or changed that, but not sure how to identify current DB version without access to the icon in the menu bar.

Since Columbus Day, a few of our users are not syncing files and the DropBox Icon is completely missing from current running operations. Being in accounting, we work in dropbox desktop daily and share invoices. Without being able to see what the other user is doing, we can lose invoices and our vendors won't get paid. I've reached out to the DropBox team and got one response this morning but no follow ups and we really need help. I've tried following the steps and try to download dropbox but it still doesn't display the icon.

I've shared three screenshots--(1) one from within a Dropbox folder with right click selected (and available options), (2) my Dropbox app menu showing that all items are synced and they are confirmed via Dropbox web and (3) showing that all folders are set to sync (which they are).

The top menu bar disappears when I open Vectorworks 2024 on my MacBook (Sonoma 14.1.2). The Apple, File, Edit, View, etc is gone. If I have another program open I can select that and its menu bar appears and I can force quit VW.

I am having similar issues with VWX menus not being visible on start up of the program. My workaround has been to have some type of external monitor connected to my computer before starting VWX24 for the first time in the day. The VWX menus are not visible across the top of my screen when I start up VWX for the first time after a full startup of my MACBook Pro from being OFF. This has been a consistent problem since first installing VWX24 in DEC with update 1. I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1, but the issue was happening with earlier versions of SONOMA as well. I attached two screen shots to show the missing drop-down menus before I add an external monitor and then after the monitor is added, the menus return and work fine. Further, if I remove/disconnect the external monitor, the VWX24 menus stay fully functional. Also, once I get the VWX menus working, if I close out of the VWX program and then open the program back up again, the menus continue to work fine. It seems to be only the first start up of the VWX program after a new startup of my Mac machine that the menus disappear.

(The menu is missing in regular and in fullscreen mode, and weirdly, separately, the normal ways of exiting fullscreen mode don't work for me for VWX - I have to drag the program into a different window to return it to the regular view.)

I'm an admin in HS CRM, and also have Sales Pro installed. I have no menu view to "enable CRM Features," as your directions suggest. The imagery you sent, doesn't even apply to what we see on our screens. We have no explanation as to why some of us can use Teamwork's integration to create tasks, and others cannot. Please help.

This is an old post, HubSpot is constantly evolving. If you are on a paid subscription contact them directly - they will be able to help you I should think. I'm not entirely sure what you want /can't do?

However the menu options when I open a new notebook are depicted in the screenshot below
Insert, cell, widgets are missing. Can you pl advise why? I even tried upgrading the jupyter version in the terminal but it says the latest is installed. I am trying to learn jupyter from a course which has the menu options noted as missing on my end

One of the biggest differences will be in what is supported by extensions. That will improve over time. For example, a Table of Contents is now built in, see here and the original post in that thread. That used to be one of the unofficial contributor authored notebook features that you could add, see here. Now you get that and other advances built in.

That is probably the best idea as someone starting in Jupyter now.
And if later you decide you want something that is more along the line of a full-featured interactive development environment experience, you can try JupyterLab. It has a single document mode you can toggle into and out of, too.

When I draw a rectangle, extrude it, make all six rectangles a solid group, then deselect, grab the paint bucket and apply it to the group, then activate the group, select a face/right click on a face, context menu does not have texture options.

I'm having problems setting up new users in GP 2010, in that they don't have any menu items showing up in the toolbar at the top of the screen (other than 'Additional'). They seem to have the proper security set up to the various application areas, because if I click on an item in the Navigation Pane ('Financial', for example), all the proper items show up in the Content Pane and I'm able to access them OK.

I tried deleting all the user's records in the SY07121 & SY07125 tables to see if the system would rebuild them, but when I log back in with that UserID the same records are rebuilt - which aren't the ones needed to properly display the menu items. There has to be something that's driving this, but I don't know where it is.
