Greetings users!
We've got a lot of fun new tools for you in our first release since launch. We hope you enjoy!
What's new in Drafty 1.1
1) New. Signal Flow tool. Shift-[Audio] creates a processor object. Drag the bottom control to resize and add/remove inputs and outputs. Drag and drop I/O ports to connect to speakers, other objects, or Mic Objects. Rename I/O ports as needed.
2) New. Offline Mode. Keep drafting when you lose connectivity. Data is saved to local storage and will sync with your cloud storage once you are back on line. Be sure to keep your tab open until you reconnect to WiFi.
3) New. PDF importer is wholly new under the hood. We provide two options, if the regular import doesn't work try Shift-Import inside the pop-up window.
4) New. On/Off toggle for cursor crosshairs.
5) New. User settings Page. On the Border Layer press the [Edit] button next to 'Defaults'
to set your document template. Includes Default new Document name, title block info, Typical Unit/General Notes toggle.
6) New. Layer visibility controls. Hold down shift and click a layer button to turn that layer's visibility on and off.
7) New. Set angle for the angle visualizer for objects without a defined angle, generic speakers, lights, &c.
8) Added. New symbols including a generic subwoofer, Source-4 Zooms, PRG, and Ayrton fixtures. More static devices including sidearms. New speakers including the EAW JFX line and QSC HPR line.
9) Fixed. A text rendering bug that would prevent proper font rendering on Windows machines.
10) Added. X/Y Position of the fixture now exports with a database export.
11) Fixed. A bug that would cause cross document data corruption when multiple files were opened along with the Database Manager.
12) Fixed. CSS styles for Windows.
13) Fixed. A bug where sometimes a device could not be deleted from a light if more than one device was added.
14) Fixed. A bug that would render an angle cone un-selectable after mirroring the fixture.
15) Fixed. Users with an A/V subscription default to the Typical Unit replaced with the General Notes field. This can also be set in user preferences for Pro users or others who do not wish the Typical Unit artwork displayed.
Happy Drafting!
