Hi

What is the stroke used for in the Lantern properties area?

It changes the color of the symbol outline. Designers and electricians use this for myriad reasons from denoting focused vs. unfocused lights, rep vs. specials, house vs. rental, or barrel type.

That's what I thought it did but it wasn't working for me.

Hi folks, I saw Gray Egerton’s question the other day about “stroke” color for fixtures, and it reminded me to inquire about something I’ve been experiencing that I don’t understand.  Lately I’ve found that some of my custom color options do not work as they used to.  When I add Set Lines or Architectural Lines or a Note, things I used to be able to choose a color for, they will not change.  Please see attached screenshot for an example.

The only way I found to edit this drawing was to copy/paste existing set lines and place them.  I am unable to establish new lines, circles etc.

What am I doing incorrectly?

Hi Andy,

We are unable to reproduce this bug. Please contact support and provide exact steps on how you go to this state and we will look into it. One thing to check is if you are drafting with a new incognito window in Chrome. Sometimes the aggressive caching in Chrome can cause it to hold on to old bits of code that get things snarled up. We suggest always starting each session fresh with a new incognito window for that reason.
