So I've notice when a new version is realeased that there is some red text in the top right corner saying "Latest version is 3.xxx" and then my current version is written up in to top left.  Is there a reason I'm not just always on the 'latest version'?  To clarify I have a pro subscription but it just seems a little odd that a web-based program can be outdated?  Also, is there a way to manually update the the latest version?

Thanks

Lucas

Hi Scott,

One of the great things about modern browsers is how fast they load web pages, especially given the huge and varied amount of media that can be found on any given page. In order to do this, they cache a large amount of data, Chrome very aggressively. While this is probably the default you want in most scenarios it can run afoul in situations like this. Two options available are to either do a hard refresh (shift-command-option-R) OR always log-in with a NEW Incognito window in Chrome. The latter ensures that every time you log in you always have the latest code.

Hope that helps!
