Whether you have multiple Facebook accounts or share a computer with friends and family, you'll need to know how to switch Facebook accounts. Thankfully, the social network makes it easy to quickly switch between profiles using the same browser.
Because you have the option to always enter your password when switching profiles, this feature is useful for family members who share a computer. Facebook also allows you to add up to 10 accounts using the Account Switcher feature.

If you're using Facebook on your phone's browser, not through the app, locate the three parallel lines icon on the top right corner of your screen. Just like before, scroll down to the bottom and tap "Log Out." A prompt will pop up asking if you want the browser to save your login info when you log out. Choose "Save and Log Out" or "Don't Save and Log Out" to complete the process.
To eliminate all existing saved passwords, click Remove all. To eliminate specific saved passwords, locate the site within the Site column and click on it once to highlight it in blue. Then click the Remove button below. You can also remove all saved passwords by clicking the Remove All button. If you wish, deselect the option to Remember logins for sites. This will prevent passwords from being saved in the future. In older versions of Firefox, this option is in the Privacy tab instead of Security.

My account was hacked several weeks ago. The person was able to change my email address to his and he changed my name on my facebook profile and made it his name. All of my friends can see his name under my picture and it is creepy. I tried to report this with no help. I created a new page and now that has been disabled. I know it is tied to the hacking. How can I get around this?
facebook suddenly vanished on the 10th Ddecember 2020off my computor without warning and asked me to nopen anew account when i did they told me there was someone with the same name AS me already on that account there was no way i new how to tell them it was me so ive no way of entering facebook i am 90 and not to bright with these computors but not dim either will some one please help
Note that if you use the same login for your business and personal Facebook accounts, it also means your personal login credentials were compromised. So it is imperative that you change your password and, ideally, turn on two-factor authentication.
The first step is to delete the app from your smartphone or tablet. Remember that deleting the Facebook app doesn't delete your account -- you can still access it from the browser and other apps might still use Facebook as a login.

One of mine clients cannot login to Facebook using Firefox browser. In fact when attempting to login to his Facebook account he receive an alert message says that "Your Computer Needs To Be Cleaned". After following the suggested steps to download and clean its computer with ESET Online Scanner, the same message appears again and the user still cannot login to his Facebook account.
The alert message "Your Computer Needs To Be Cleaned", is displayed because Facebook has implement a malware checkpoint to it's platform in order to prevent malicious activity to your FB account. But in some cases the ESET Online Scanner, doesn't run (open) using Firefox browser so you have to use Internet Explorer in order to run ESET Online Scanner without problems. After scanning/cleaning, if you still receive the "Your Computer Needs To Be Cleaned" alert message using Firefox or another browser (e.g. Chrome) you have to empty your browser history in order to login to your FB account again.
8. After making sure that your computer is clean try to login to your FB account again. If you still receive the same alert message ("Your Computer Needs To Be Cleaned"), then proceed to step 2 and clean you Internet browser's history.
