DePaul UMMA's annual community café suitably entitled "Café UMMA", established 2011, is one of the largest efforts of the year, considerately held during "Islam Awareness Week", that provides a space to collectively experience and celebrate the diverse, creative, and artistic elements of the human soul. Café UMMA delivers various array of poetry, music, stories, arts and talents from across the nation, seeking to create and celebrate our tradition of upholding an 'umma' (community) through creative and soul-inspiring expression.
