UMMA Eid Dinner!

Good Afternoon UMMA Members,

Eid Mubarak to all of those that celebrated!

UMMA has quite a few exciting events coming up and they wouldn’t be a success without your presence. 

-Eid Al Adha Dinner (Loop)

Where: 11th Floor of the DePaul Center, near the Rooftop Galler

When: Wednesday, October 8th, 5-7pm

-Eid Al Adha Dinner (Lincoln Park)

Where: Cortelyou Commons

When: Saturday, October 11th, 6pm

What: Join us for some delicious food, games and activities, and even better company!

-Chai Chats

Where: Muslim Life Space, Room 329 of the Student Center

When: Wednesdays at 6pm, starting next week

What: Discuss a variety of ethical issues with your fellow peers while enjoying a cup of chai!

-Tafsir

Where: Muslim Life Space, Room 329 of the Student Center

When: Thursdays at 4pm

What: Learn and discuss the story of Luqman, a chapter from the Quran.

DePaul’s Dinning Services is currently serving Zabiha Halal Chicken on Lincoln Park’s campus. It is currently at the Kitchen as well as hot bowls, look for an ‘H’ logo on the food labels. The Deli also offers chicken for your sandwich, be sure to let the staff member know that you would like the Halal chicken. All the chicken in the Pasta Station is also Halal. We will update you all when Halal chicken is made available in the Loop campus. 

As always, feel free to stop by the Muslim Life Space anytime! It is a great way to meet other students and take a break from studying. We are on the third floor of the Student Center, room 329.
