Film Screening
DePaul Islamic World Studies Program will host a screening of the award winning documentary film Fordson: Faith, Fasting, Football and the American Dream
Tomorrow, March 8, 2012 @ 7:00pm in the Lincoln Park Student Center room 120B.
The event will be followed by a panel discussion that will include filmmaker Rashid Ghazi, Professor Ahmed Hashim and Shereen Yousuf.

SHORT SYNOPSIS
Fordson: Faith, Fasting, Football follows a predominately Arab-American high school football team from a working-class Detroit suburb as they practice for their big cross-town rivalry game during the last ten days of Ramadan,
revealing a community holding onto its Islamic faith while they struggle for acceptance in post 9/11 America.
