What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. installed dpkt using windows installer
2. started python
3. imported dpkt

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The python interpreted crashes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7 windows installer on windows xp.
it is not crashed in windows7 box.

Please provide any additional information below.
