Hi,

I understand that the provider should have seen the patient in the last 18 months, but the addition to the roster expires after 90 days, or they need to have had a recent claim that CMS can use to determine attribution/permission. As long as the provider can attest that they have a treatment need to see the data, the provider can add the patient to the roster, staying there for 90 days.

Does this mean that after 90 days post addition to the roster, the provider will stop getting that particular patient related data even though they are within the last 18 month period?

Best Regards,
Vishwa

Hello Vishwa,

Thanks for the question. Patient/Practitioner relationships automatically expire after 90 days and must be re-attested by the Practitioner. If the provider wants to continue to receive data on a patient after the 90 days, they can do so by re-attributing the Patient to the Practitioner’s Group. For more information on this topic, please follow this link: https://dpc.cms.gov/docsV1#groups-attribution

Thanks,
