In the past we had found that claims were not returned for a patient if the requesting NPI did not have a claim within the last 18 months. We wanted to confirm if this was still the case?

Hi Ron,

Thanks for checking! Yes, this is still the case.

Specifically, if any Explanation of Benefits (EoBs) associated with a patient have a billing date within 18 months of the date of data request, and either the job's organization NPI or the job's provider NPI matches any of the NPIs found, then the provider will receive the data of the patient.

This is part of our security protocol to ensure we provide the right data at the right time to the right party.
