Hi,

Thanks for your question and apologies for the delay! The sandbox requires a few specific files and formats for public key setup, so to narrow this down, could you let us know which step you’re getting stuck on and what error message you’re seeing?

In the meantime, here are a few common things to double-check based on the DPC key setup process:

Public Key field
The sandbox requires that:

“The PUBLIC KEY field must include the ‘BEGIN PUBLIC KEY’ and ‘END PUBLIC KEY’ tags from your public.pem file.”

Please confirm that you pasted the full contents of your public.pem file into the Public Key field, including:

-----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY----- … -----END PUBLIC KEY-----

Signature Snippet field
The sandbox requires that:

“The public key signature (snippet.txt.sig file) must yield ‘Verified OK’ results in order to successfully generate the signature.sig file and paste its contents in the PUBLIC KEY SIGNATURE field.”

Please confirm that:

  • You ran the verify public key snippet command

  • The results showed “Verified OK”

  • You pasted the contents of the snippet.txt.sig (or signature.sig) file into the Signature Snippet field in the portal

Files in one folder
The DPC developer documentation also notes:

“Please ensure all files created from this page are stored in ONE folder (These include: private.pem, public.pem, snippet.txt, snippet.txt.sig, signature.sig).”

Please let us know if you have any additional questions! We're happy to help.

Best,

The DPC API Team
