We're about to launch a blog but have questions re which host to use.
Been advised to go with WordPress but thinking that Bluehost may be better in the long run.

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks so much,

Ian Loomer

Wordpress hosting is fine enough if you are only ever going to have a Wordpress site. If you might ever use a different platform I’d look at other options.

I had some speed issues with Bluehost hosting, but that might not be an issue on a simple blog.

 Big fan of Siteground as a host, lots of focus on the user.

If you haven’t built the blog yet I would check out Webflow. It’s a designer and host. It’s what the DPA website and my website is built on and is the most WYSIWYG builder I’ve ever used. It has a higher learning curve, but is still a solid no-code solution.

to Ian Loomer,
Josh, Ian;

Thanks so much for your info. Going to check out the ones you mentioned, i.e. webflow, siteground and squarespace.

Just found out the difference between and! Lots to know!

I've worked as a writer forever and am now entering the B-l-o-g world!

So, again, many thanks for your input!
