UPDATE.... Our Annual Doyle Circle Block Party (Halloween Style :)

Hi again, my fellow Doylers!

I hope you all are enjoying a little Fall weather today….. YAAYY!! ;)

Here are some updates on the progress that has been made thus far.....

1.) Thank you SO much to Mike Strouf, and Intero Real Estate, Genesis Team, for sponsoring the AWESOME South Bay Entertainers!

This includes a balloon artist (4:00 - 5:00pm), and NEW this year..... a PHOTO BOOTH (4:00 - 6:00pm)!! 

2.) Thank you SO much to Lu and Ziyi Zhang for sponsoring our SUPER FUN bounce house this year!  And new this year.... a SLIDE for the kiddies to exit the bounce house!    

 (We are trying a new company this year, NorCal Jump, and the bounce house will include a CUTE Halloween banner in front :)

Also, I want to thank Namrata and Vishal Goenka for allowing us to set up the bounce house in their driveway/front of their house... since we are going to be celebrating at the Doyle Circle roundabout!

3.) The trophies are here!  I added another age group.... ADULTS!!  YAAAYY!!  (This just ups the competition a little bit... are you ready for it? :)

4.) I have researched four taco trucks/carts, and I have found that the best deal is for a company called The Taco Lady (her name is Margarita ;), she has a cart with lots of choices, and vegetarian options.  I will include an attachment of the menu that she sent to me so that you can plan your meal ;)

Her services include everything that you’ll see on her menu, and the cost is $430 for 30 people (roughly $14/person). 

So, we are hoping that there are at least 30 of us who will participate? ;)

5.) And the other super fun research that I’ve been doing is trying to find a cotton candy cart, and we just might have that as an option for the kiddies as well!!  I’m still waiting to hear back from Wonder Cotton Candy to see if she has our date available.  And I wanted to give you the rates for this service too….

$295 for 1-hour service

$350 for 2-hour service

So, depending upon her availability, is this something that you all are willing to pay?  I think that the kiddies will love it, and if those of us who have kiddies who will enjoy it, the cost can be fairly reasonable, split amongst us… right? ;) ;)
