Seeing Jesus interact with a jojo and having a supposed supernatural corpse made me think. Considering all the weird and supernatural occurrences that happen in Jojos due to stands or other phenomena, is it possible that Jesus Christ had a stand?
25 But Jesus (E)knew their thoughts, and said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, (F)surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
We sang this song in our evening devotion today and it made an entirely different but fresh meaning to the whole Family.
We heard the Holy Spirit encouraging us both young and adults to take our stand for Christ, in our daily living and conduct.
The Holy Spirit was saying to us that we must leran to stand in his strength alone and be sure we are already in the battle to always establish and defend his lordship over our lives each and every one.
We must stand against the tyranny of sin in the days of battle and we must stand in his strength alone.
My kins men are under the threat of Fulani heards men presently and we pray that the Lord will help us to stand in the days of terror that looks ahead of us.

While it might be funny to joke about overblown fears about the so-called War On Christmas, it's probably more helpful to try to understand the roots of those concerns, then address those in a thoughtful manner. Harvard University's Pluralism Project offers some great ideas about the shape these talks could take.
I had a wonderful 5thgrade teacher named Mr. Boggs. Like most good teachers, Mr. Boggs could be a tad eccentric, and one of the things that he insisted on in his classroom, was that whenever an adult entered the room, the entire class was to stand at attention. Now I understand that this may have been common in an earlier age, but when I was in grade school, it was not. He is the only teacher I ever had that insisted upon this. We were the only class that did it.
Mr. Boggs was a great teacher and we loved and respected him. So we went along with his little rule. When an adult entered the room, we stood up. We became known as the class that stands when someone enters. It was a part of our identity. We were the class that showed respect. We were the class that took notice when you walked into the room. It was a bit odd at first. We were all so used to just focusing on whatever our assignment was, whatever it was that we were doing, that it was a real change for us to be constantly aware of what was going on around us: who was coming and going, who was in the room. Before, we could just tune all that out, but now we all had the classroom door in our side view, just in case someone were to walk in. After all, no one wanted to be the last one to stand up. That would be embarrassing. And if you saw someone coming, you made sure that your friends knew it. You got their attention.
shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.1
The Church of Jesus Christ is grounded on the rock of revelation, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. We are the Church. You and I are the Church. We must be grounded on the rock of revelation, and although we may not know the answer to every question, we must know the answers to the primary questions. And if we do, the gates of hell shall not prevail against us and we will stand forever.
In the Great Work of God of 1858, in Philadelphia [Pennsylvania], the Rev. Dudley Tyng was the recognized leader. While standing by a piece of farm machinery on his place, the sleeve of his coat became entangled in the gearing. His arm was drawn into the machinery and torn off, and he died soon after. In the prime of his life he was taken away from the direction of that great revival movement.
A few days after that marvelous service, Tyng was at work in his study. For a few moments of relaxation, he decided to walk down to his barn to watch a corn-shelling machine in operation. While he patted a mule, being used to operate the machine, the animal became frightened and leapt forward, knocking Tyng into the machine. This caused his sleeve to be caught in the cogs. Before they could stop the animal, Tyng's arm was pulled in and so badly lacerated that it had to be amputated. He lived only a few days after the accident. Just before he died, his dad, leaning over his young minister son, asked him if he had a message for the young men with whom he had been working. He replied, "Tell them to stand up for Jesus."
George Duffield, Jr., a young pastor, and a close friend of Mr. Tyng, was so moved by that message he preached a sermon the following Sunday, exhorting his congregation to stand firm for Jesus Christ. His text was Ephesians 6:14, "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness." At the close of the sermon he read a poem he had written:
In Christ alone my hope is found,
He is my light, my strength, my song;
This Cornerstone, this solid Ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My Comforter, my All in All,
Here in the love of Christ I stand.
Some people live their lives, from a spiritual standpoint, on shaky footing. Couple this reality with the fact that we live in a turbulent world with obstacles, winds of afflictions and troubles, and our own personal weaknesses. It is not easy to stand solidly in this world.
