This photo accented the few browns on his face and gave me the highlights and shadows I would need in creating the line-drawing for the pattern, as well as definition to his face and body to guide me later in the collage process itself.
Often those "we created a thing for you" notifications are quite useful. Today I clicked on the notification then accidentally closed the Photos app, and now I don't know how to find the collage/slideshow it created again.
I insert photos in every e-mail we send (we are an event florist). Sometimes I have to create a collage on another site then upload it because the layouts in Constant Contact don't allow for cohesive photo sharing!! Would love an option to insert a photo collage or slideshow to showcase our floral designs Thanks for the consideration!:smileywink:
Thanks for the feedback everyone! We're going through the process of updating the statuses of all our ideas in hopes of making it more clear where features stand in the product pipeline. There are no immediate plans in the works for this, but we recognize and have done some preliminary research into this request. We found that many of our customers were already using Canva to create their graphics, which influenced the decision for the Canva integration. This should make it easy to create and use collages, but we're still open to feedback on whether this is enough or if there should be more exploration of a feature like this. Please continue to comment and provide any use cases that would be helpful.
I just thought you will be needing a photo viewer and an editing program? If you do, then you may want checking this PhotoViewerPro that I use for my photo collage. It has an advance features that works great.
I have tried to work this out and wondered if there was a way I can create a collage using the text, but split each letter in to different sections to I can drag and drop more than one photo in to each letter. Hope that makes sense? This is the type of thing but maybe more squares:
The above attached "collage.afdesign" file was created with/in Affinity Designer v1.10.5 ! - If you use older versions you have to update your APh und ADe versions accordingly to the latest 1.10.x ones.
I use collages in most of my listings that I create in Corel so I understand what you are trying to accomplish. That having been said I'm somewhat confuzzled why you feel a need to save on your allotment for variation listings. Now I'm not a variation pro, so let me put that out there right now, in fact I believe I only have two that I've created because they are somewhat confusing to me, YMMV. But I'm pretty sure that you do get 11 or 12 pictures PER VARIATION. This means that if you have 10 items in the variation, I'm pretty sure you get 110 or 120 pictures.
If you have a smart phone you can do a search in your app store for collage maker. I use one called Layout but there are many to choose from. You can save to your phone or email them to yourself to save on your computer.
Quilting through a collaged design requires the use of 40# polyester thread (commonly used for machine embroidery), to prevent thread breakage. I prefer to use thread that matches the color of the project, so I change my thread throughout the process of quilting. I also recommend using a non-stick needle, which is less likely to get gummed up as it goes through the adhesive required for the pieces of fabric to stick to each other. I use a standard free-motion foot for the doodle-stitching and the meander stitching in the background. For the border of the block, I use a #72 Ruler Foot, along with the straight BERNINA ruler.

Next, prepare your collage materials. I collect lots of scraps throughout the year so may of these odd shapes were already cut. I then went through my old art drawer and took out a bunch of paintings. I cut these into square and rectangle shapes. I also have a draw of colored paper and a drawer of patterned scrapbook paper. (I use the Alex drawers from IKEA to store paper and old art.) I selected a few pieces and cut them up. Next I found some fabric scraps and cut those up, too. Lastly, I separated each color into its own tray and added some buttons.

I currently have set up a shopify store using the "Dawn" Template (The most recent version). For some reason it does not give me an option to shrink the size of the 'collage' block (picture attached). I am trying to shorten the length so it all fits on to one page when you look at it in full screen mode. It is currently quite a bit longer than a full page when viewing it. Any feedback would be appreciated.
this resizes the entire collage card. How can I resize only the large image of the three? This changes aspect ratio and doesn't work with my photos. I would need to change images to make it fit the aspect. I want to leave the two smaller images native and shrink the larger image.

Works by multiple generations of living artists examine concepts such as cultural hybridity, gender fluidity, historical memory, and notions of beauty and power.
This groundbreaking exhibition brings attention to the richness of collage as an art form. Building upon the legacy of African American artists such as Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, Faith Ringgold, and Betye Saar, contemporary artists make collages in an array of ways, from traditional cutting and pasting to creating works digitally. Arthur Jafa takes digital collage a step further, gathering highs and lows of Black experiences into his poignant video montage Love Is the Message, The Message Is Death.
Collage Artist Residency: Scotland is centered on collage artists who want to develop their artist practice. Residencies are intended for self-motivated artists, regardless of the stage in their career, who want to develop their practice by exploring a topic or working method and collaborating with others to produce a final product and who want to develop a practice of working with place, historic sites or history associations, folklore or other themes to create and present art that embeds itself in non-traditional spaces and speaks to a general community about contemporary issues.

In collage artist residencies in Scotland, New Orleans, and virtual space, we will bring together artists to explore the ideas of castles as a way of understanding the systems of power that shape history and contemporary life. In Scotland, we will consider the castles of Sanquhar, Drumlanrig, and Morton; their history, folklore, and evolution. In New Orleans, we will reflect upon the plantations of the German Coast on the Mississippi River. Through virtual residencies, we will examine 20th century romantic notions of castles in popular media and theme parks. Collectively, artists will make artwork that expresses ideas that connect history and folklore to contemporary manifestations of power. The end result will be expressed in a book and exhibition.
