Each track comes as both a headphone mix and a speaker mix, so you can test out two different ways to experience our signature 3D Mega-Dimensional Sound.
Poise features 16 drum pads, with 8 sampler layers per pad. Sample layers have parameters for pitch, volume and balance, as well as amplitude and pitch envelopes. There are several sample switching types including random, velocity and round-robin.
The first patch library for Grace comes from WaveShaper and contains 54 original patches rich with vintage synth charactor. All patches use samples captured from a collection of analog synths and drum machines.
Our aim was to create the easiest virtual drum sampler with the versatility to also meet the needs of professionals. Finally we have drums with ML Sound Lab's secret sauce: capturing the sound perfectly at the source without relying on mixing or post-processing gimmicks. The end result is natural drum sounds that work great in the mix.

Behind the bare bones ML Drums user interface is a sampler engine that has taken four years of development. We set out to resolve some of the biggest frustrations in drum samplers - actions like setting up multi-out routing in a DAW only takes a few clicks.
One of the biggest bottle-necks for drum samplers is the lack of realism. The ML Drums engine combines as many velocity layers and samples as needed for realistic round-robin playback. The sampler features a HUMAN mode that masks velocity layers and adds realistic drummer fatigue that adjusts multiple things including velocity and micro-latency.
The drum samples are handled in a smart way, measuring their loudness and placing them on a realistic volume curve referenced from actual drum playing. This means you can use MIDI velocity to realistically control how hard your virtual drummer is hitting without getting unrealistic volume changes, which is a problem with most drum samplers.
ML Drums comes with several mix-ready presets to get you going, but also features an advanced mixer for more experienced engineers. Each channel has a volume fader and a 3-band EQ with Q and frequency controls making all tracks flexible for every use case. Every track has a pro grade saturation algorithm that adds ideal odd harmonics to make drums thicker and cut better in the mix without adding volume. You can also control the amount of kick, snare, tom, hihat and ride bleed going into the overhead and room channels for a multidimensional drum sound.
The mixer also includes "76 style" compressors for the kick, snare, toms, room and parallel compression for the master channel. ML Drums also comes with an inbuilt reverb that you can modify to fit your needs by setting the length of the tail and your own mix of kick, snare, toms and room sends.

At Karoryfer Samples we make virtual musical instruments, often sampling oddball noisy techniques or weird old instruments. Sometimes both, like the time we borrowed one of the last guitars made in the Soviet Union, and played it by hitting the strings with a pencil.
Small but intercontinental, we have bases in Poland and Ghana. Some of our samples were recorded in places as distant as Australia and one of the Americas. The commercial releases are in the catalog, the free stuff is under the "Free" button at the top.
Our samples run in the Plogue Sforzando sampler, available for free from here, and are delivered via Pulse Downloader. Non-Pulse download links are available if you contact us. All samples are also included as unlocked WAV files and can be used in other samplers.
Dummy Sampler is the most obedient of the JMeter samplers: it generates sample just with the values that was defined fot it. It is extremely convenient when you need to debug a BeanShell Post-Processor or RegExp Extractor without repeating whole test or waiting for exact condition in application under test.
In addition to Sampler component, you can use a post-processor that adds dummy samples as subresults. An obvious use-case is to have Dummy Sampler with Dummy Subresults to simulate HTTP Request with embedded resources.
The picture speaks for itself. Within the beautifully decorated town hall of the city of Leeds in England lies this spectacular organ, towering high into the music hall and silencing the sounds of the city with its earth shuddering, rich, harmonic tones.
We spent some time with organist Dr Simon Lindley who told us all about how the instrument works, it's history and even a guided tour up in to the inside of the organ itself! Simon crafted 6 versatile presets for us and we began the painstaking process of sampling this incredible feat of engineering. Over the next few months we spent many evenings in the town hall recording every single note with multiple round robins and over 10 second note recordings to capture the true sonic character of the organ.
Everyone involved in the project worked long hours and for free, so we felt that it was only right to give away the fruits of our labour and hope that the spirit of this incredible instrument could spread throughout the world and help people to craft wonderful music that moves people to do good things.
We packaged the sounds up into a custom Kontakt 5 instrument with a lovely photo of the organ in all of it's splendor, as well as sampler instruments for Kontakt 4, EXS24, Reason NN-XT and Ableton Sampler. Zampler // RX is a free sample workstation that includes a variety of ways to sculpt and manipulate sounds and it includes features you would expect in any current soft-sampler. For finest sound shaping: the integrated multi-mode filter offers the types low, high, band pass and band stop as well as various combinations of these. Three LFOs, three ADSR envelopes and a complex modulation matrix bring life to the sounds. The range of functions is rounded off by an extensive effects section, in which tube saturation, two equalizers, phaser, chorus, delay and reverb refine every sound.
With Zampler // RX 2.0, Beat updates the professional sample workstation for Windows and OS X, which can easily keep up with the big players in the industry in terms of sound and sampling capability. Thanks to the clever step sequencer, particularly complex, full and lively sounds are a specialty of the Zampler. Finally, the well-known algorithms of the Dune inventor Synapse-Audio work under the hood.
The plug-in is available for the VST and AU interfaces and impresses with its well-thought-out features. In addition to REX loop compatible sample oscillators, the Zampler is capable of supporting the .sfz format which makes it a perfect fit with the sample libraries from our sister site Loopmasters.
Independence is a high-quality software sampler that's ideal for beat junkies, sound designers and composers. It includes a 2 GB sound library for creating any sound imaginable - from electro beats to classical pieces.
Independence Free is available for Windows and Mac OS as a VST instrument for DAWs or a standalone sampler. In addition to sample formats that can be used in Independence, AKAI S1000, S3000 and SoundFont samples are also supported. The Independence Translator by Chicken Systems also lets you import further formats - so you can use your own sound library with the program's powerful features.

Until now, if you wanted a realistic acoustic guitar in your productions, the only serious option was to use a real guitarist. Numerous sample libraries and virtual instruments have come and gone that proclaimed realism, but fell far short of delivering on that promise. At best, they could be used to fill in a guitar part in pre-production mock ups that would later need to be replaced by a real guitar performance. All were better buried in the mix rather than exposed.

Evolution Steel Strings features an iconic, Martin D16R steel string acoustic guitar recorded in stereo with top-notch mics and preamps in 24-bit, 48 khz for the best tone and fidelity possible. While most acoustic guitar sample libraries are sampled using only one mic, we used stereo micing, for a more natural tone, and also adjustable stereo width. The superior construction of the guitar used resulted in minimal buzzing on even the hardest hit notes. (Buzzing is an often cited problem with some of the popular acoustic guitar libraries for KONTAKT on the market.)
