You can use Find Devices on iCloud.com to find the approximate location of your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, and Beats product if Find My is set up on the device and the device is online.
Each family member must set up their devices to share their locations with other family members. See the Apple Support article Share your location with your family. Once they set up location sharing, you can locate their devices using the instructions above.
Change the map view: The button at the top right of the map indicates if the current map is a standard view , a hybrid view , or a satellite view . To choose a different map, click the button, then click the view you want.
There may be a recovery method available for your phone or tablet that lets you see it on a map, make it ring, lock it or erase it. Select your device's operating system to learn how to use these features:
If your basic phone is already lost, there isn't a way to track it. We recommend you suspend your service to prevent unauthorized use until you find the phone or activate a different one. You can also go to the My Usage page in My Verizon to see if the phone has been used since it was lost.

If the phone number (where you would have received a confirmation at one point) is not put in correctly in the OpenAI service, then there should be no prohibition on you opening another account with a different email address and the phone number input in a working manner - it should be seen as unique.
bearww, We just figured out how to fix this. Go to "Settings", then "General", scroll all the way to the bottom to "Reset" then select "Reset all Settings" it will ask for your 4 number pass code twice after that choose "Reset All Settings" When the process is all done you should be able to shut off Find my iPhone, delete your iCloud account and restore your phone. We ended up not having to restore our phone because we were able to fix our issues after this. You will have to go back and reset all your settings after this but all of our information and apps were still on the phone. I hope this helps you.
Hey, i hope this many years later you have already solved your problem, but I had the same problem for hours here, almost threw my phone on the wall just to find out I was the one to blame and the answer was so much more simple. I was not connected to any wifi, that was why apple did not recognized my password. Hope it helps someone in the future
I struggled for about an hour and tried everything written in here. It was a simple fix for me. You have to have location services enabled before it will let you turn off Find my iPhone.
Before I did this, when I would enter my password the password box would blink like I hadn't entered the correct password. After I enabled the location services it took my password like it should have.
This still can be an issue with the current iOS. The solution is in the order of things. You can't turn off the "find my iPhone," because you are still logged in to the account. Go to Settings and click on your name. At the bottom of that next screen, click on Sign Out. Now you can go back to General menu and click the Reset button. Pick the option you want. It will now erase, reset or any of the other options.
I'd like to dod this but my ipad cannot be used becasue it says it needs activation (suddenly it did that I'd been using it happily for 12 months then it said it needs activating). So i can get to general seetings. Itunes says switch off find my iphone which i did in icloud but when i then try to restore or activate it says switch off find my iphone. impossible!
You really helped me! I have been trying for about an hour to figure out why I couldn't turn off Find my iPhone - connected to my wifi and viola! Problem solved. THANK YOU so much! I will remember that next time.
i got a blank page in iCloud and will not turn of it say pass word not write it got terms and condition but it over cast and will not turn off gone back to settings and deleted all and still comes on
ssschmidt, the issue isn't we can't figure out how to shut it off, it is it WONT shut off. I have the same problem. I even delete it but it still show's in iCloud. Can't restore the phone or delete iCloud account because find my iPhone wont turn off or delete no matter what we do. I drove 2 hours to an apple store and was told to just restore the phone. Got home only to find out that you can't restore the **** phone without find my iPhone being turned off which is what is the problem in the first place. Anyone figured out how to resolve this yet?
I have been tasked with setting up Teams Calling throughout my organization. At the moment I am trying to set up an Auto Attendant, and attach a Phone Number to a Resource Account.
I have been seeing this error (See Image) for the last three days when attempting to add a number to the Resource Account.
Is this due to a permissions issue ? Or is MS currently experiencing actual problems with this feature?
Hello @Erik365Online ,
I have phone numbers that are unused, but this interface requires me to search for one of the unused phone numbers. When doing so the error as shown in the original post appears.
- I did try in Chrome and Edge, both had the same result.
- What license does the Resource Account require? E1,E3, E5? Currently the resource account has a Phone system License, and a Calling plan associated with it.
- I will try Powershell next, but would like to confirm which license the resource account should have first.
the resource account should have a Phone System Virtual User license or a regular Phone System license. A calling plan license is not required for the resource account because the users behind will licensed with calling plans (users in the call queue/auto attendant).
Samsung Find My Mobile uses location information collected by Google, as well as data passing through wireless networks, in order to identify where a mobile device might have been accidentally left behind or even stolen.
Note that location tracking and other features of Find My Mobile will only work if your lost device is turned on and connected to a cellular or Wi-Fi network. You should log in as soon as you discover your device is missing to give yourself the best chance of locating it.
Find My Mobile also allows you to remotely adjust the power saving settings on your lost phone to extend the battery life. Switch to maximum power saving mode to increase the time your device will stay on so you can locate it.
