The installer information for the previous version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat is missing or has become corrupted. Removing the previous version allows Acrobat to install. Acrobat and Adobe Reader require this information to successfully install a newer version. Some registry cleaners or system maintenance tools can remove registry information needed by the installer and cause this error.

How do you mean a repair game? And no the game is not installed yet. In origin i can press on the install button for the sims 4, but after a few seconds it gives the error stated above. And yes i installed/repaired both 32 and 64 bit versions.

I was downloading my Sims 4 game and then I had to install it, but when I clicked install, origin said " The vc++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue. (1612)" and then it says "An unexpected error has occurred. Error 327684:1" So I tried deleting and redownloading all the vc++ things in the Installer file of sims 4 (both 2013 and 2010), clean booting my system, checking for updates, restarting my computer like a million times and basically everything on the internet. Then I found a forum that suggested to look at the installer log and see where the mistake was. This is mine:

Like most Windows apps, Acrobat and Reader use Microsoft Windows Installer technology to install updates. An update can fail due to one of the following Microsoft Installer errors. If your error isn't listed here, check Windows Installer Error Messages on the Microsoft site.

This error could also occur when downloading and updating with the Adobe Application Manager. The error can be bypassed by downloading the update separately from installing it. That is, save the updater file locally (on your computer) and then run it in a separate step.

The download/install error is caused by conflicts between Visual C++ Redistribuable versions. Apex, before the download, asks the user to accept the 2010, 2012 and 2015 VC Redist agreements. It means that Apex's setup is programmed to install its own versions of VC Redist 2010, 2012 and 2015. To ensure that the setup is successful, before downloading the game, you need to:

Ok, you can do this but in my eyes this workaround is not an elegant nor a save solution.
A better solution would be to find the install config file then remove all entries which are connected to this error means delete all entries which lead to installing the vc++ redists.
This would be faster and much safer.
And I am not willing to go thru all this only because someone was not clever enough to implement a check into the install routine wether something is installed or not.
Then I will not play Apex. I have so many games which I can play so i will wait until they fix this.

I cannot connect to the CRA server through ufile netfile. It simply says 'error connecting to CRA server'. But when installing Ufile 2021 in the first place, it came up with an istallation error '1612'. So I suspect that this installation error is prohibitting UFile 2021 from connecting to the CRA Server to download the tax files. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

The above error/message is displayed when you try to upgrade AirWatch / Workspace One UEM from an older version to a newer version. Generally after installing AirWatch / Workspace One UEM the .msi file gets stored in a hidden folder in c:\windows\installer with a unique name refer to the screenshot below

At first it seemed to be affecting that specific application (Kaspersky Anti-Virus in my case) but later I found that it affected partner applications like the Network agent responsible for remote administration and monitoring. This was because the registry for that product id in the registry was corrupted to the point that Windows thinks it is installed and uninstalled at the same time so trying to do either results in a fatal error.

I was able to successfully reproduce this issue on a default installation and have reported this to our developers for closer review. You can view the report and follow along here: -gateway-stripe/issues/1612

This error occurs when the AMD Chipset Software Installer has detected missing dependencies (files) from the current system which may have been removed by a previous software/driver update or uninstall operation.

Wait until the setup tool finishes, unfortunately with an error message: "An install operation took too long to execute. This is a fatal error preventing product use. Please restart your computer, and run this installer again. If the problem persists, please check the product support web site for your product."

The log file of the HP setup tool shows details about the error message, but I don't know what to look for. The Windows driver installation log file C:\Windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log looks fine, no error messages.

Installation process failed to install the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable dependency for the installer package. To fix this error, manually install the x86 or x64 version of the VC++ 2010 Redistributable package and then try deploying BEST again.

The error code indicates that the current maintenance operation cannot continue until the restart is performed. Another case when this code is returned is when the repair or uninstall fails and will try again after a reboot.

Your product is failing to install because the prerequiste program required by the installer is failing prior to the installation of your Autodesk software.

If the prerequisite program already exists on your computer, it is likely newer than the one the Autodesk installer is attempting to install. Please uninstall the prerequisite program causing the issue and run your installer again.

If the prerequisite is not already installed and installation still fails, then you may need to make an advanced edit to the setup.ini file to ignore the error. Please make sure you manually install the prerequisite file from Microsoft and then modify the setup.ini file accordingly.

The main issue was related to .net framework which is why I asked you to uninstall and let the software install it which seemed to work. In regards to the error message you just received, its nothing you have to worry about as @TravisNave pointed out. The service that failed is used for scanning your pc or network share to index blocks and other content for importing into your model.
