Parking Sub-Committee

Good Afternoon Organizations Committee,

 

DDA Staff has had an initial meeting with Susan Pollay from the Ann Arbor DDA in which we discussed parking. She was very helpful in giving us some direction on where to start and how to be cost effective in executing a parking study. Appropriately, I think we should schedule our 1^st parking study meeting so that we can discuss our direction and objectives in completing this study.

 

As discussed in our May Organizations Committee meeting, Paul Schreiber, Sandee French and Rene Greff  are the members that expressed interest in participating in the sub-committee.  I have sent this message to everyone to see if there is anyone else that would like to also participate and if so, I would ask that you respond to this email indicating your interest.

 

Of the three committee members, please let me know what dates could possibly work and what dates are an absolute NO.  Once I have a list of dates I will send out an email to nail down an exact meeting date.

I am sorry to hear that the committee was not included in this initial meeting.  If at all possible, I would like to have Susan, Teresa, YDDA staff and interested committee members at this initial meeting to discuss study scope.  I also suggest using a meeting coordinating tool like meeting manager or meeting wizard to coordinate with everyone.  May save a lot of back and forth time.

I’m sorry I do need to clarify one thing… everyone can send their meeting preferences directly to me at tr...@ypsilantidda.org and I will use survey monkey to assist us with picking a date.  Please complete this as soon as possible so we can set a date. This will also allow staff a little lead time to work toward gathering materials in preparation for this meeting.

I have received only a few emails with regard to preferential times for a parking-subcommittee meeting. I will wait till the end of the day today to gather responses and tomorrow I will send out a meeting wizard notice.

 

So far No Mondays or Fridays, mornings after 10 and not available on the 16th.

Everyone ...

I have accepted a position with Pittsfield Charter Township and unfortunately will not be able to continue with the City of Ypsilanti DDA Committees.  It has been great meeting new people and being with those who I have known for some time.  I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all of you.  Hopefully I have added something to the discussions we have had.  If I can be helpful with some background information, please do not hesitate to let me hear from you.  I do apologize for not sharing this opportunity with you sooner, it has been a bit hectic.  Thank you so very much for all the kindness extended to me.
