Celebrate Pets at the Market!
This week the Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market celebrates “Pets on Parade”. The event takes place on Saturday, September 10th, starting at 8am with free pet portraits and a cutest pet contest. Have your pet's portrait taken by Ravenswift Images and we'll email it to you the same day. Or, pay $1 and pick up your portrait the following week.
The market sees a lot of dogs each weekend and this week...end is just for them. All kinds of pets are welcome for the contest and portraits but dogs have the upper paw when it comes to shopping for all-natural dog treats from Pawsitively a Dog Thing.
In addition to the pet theme, the live entertainment runs all day starting at 9am. Visitors are encouraged to sit and relax while they enjoy the music and surroundings.
Look for some of your regular favourites and for some new things this week like Edamame beans and pumpkins.
We welcome new and regular vendors including Mr. Tir who has been bringing out his amazing apples and The Fruit Wagon with Canada’s newest apple, Aurora. Don’t forget all the amazing baked goods too!
See you at the market!
