Pets on Parade
This
week the Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market celebrates “Pets on Parade”.
The event takes place on Saturday, September 11th, starting at 8am with
pet-related activities that include:
8am-10am Cutest pet contest
8am-1pm ALL DAY:
- Free nail trimming by Hounds of Walkerville
- Free pet portraits by Ravenswift Images
- Buy all-natural dog treats from Pawsitively a Dog Thing
- Kids get all-natural treats to take home for their pets (at the info table while supplies last)
The
market sees a lot of dogs each weekend and this weekend is just for
them. All kinds of pets are welcome for the contest and portraits but
dogs have the upper paw when it comes to the free nail trimming and the
option of shopping for all-natural dog treats.Enter our contest, it's free! Do you look like your pet or do you simply have the cutest pet around? Get your portrait done from 8am to 10am to enter the cutest pet contest.
In addition to the
pet theme, the live entertainment runs all day starting at 9am.
Visitors are encouraged to sit and relax while they enjoy the music and
surroundings. |
