Join us for a day of exhibits that celebrate Windsor’s heritage (plus one very special guest). The event takes place on Saturday, October 9th, starting at 8am with activities that include:
8am-1pm ALL DAY:
- Border Bookmobile - Exhibits about urban history of Windsor-Detroit.
- Windsor Community Museum – Artifacts & archival material from the city.
- Windsor Woodcarving Museum – Live woodcarving demos & museum information
- Enter our free draw to win tickets for RED GREEN's evening concert with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra
- Kids get a very unique gift

Comedian Steve Smith makes an appearance at the market to sell his new
book and sign autographs. Steve's in town to play with the Windsor
Symphony Orchestra (www.windsorsymphony.com)
The local offerings are splendid right now. Beautiful fall colours aren’t just on the trees…they are at the farmers’
stands too. Autumn in Essex County
is a great time for produce with a huge array of vegetables and fruits available
like radishes, squash, beets, sweet corn, fall raspberries, grapes, pears and
apples. In addition to the special events, the live entertainment runs all day starting at 9am.
Visitors are encouraged to sit and relax while they enjoy the music and
surroundings. |
