InsideINdianaBusiness.com Report
A Lafayette company is hoping to send two of its bakers to Germany to make desserts for injured soldiers. Yellow Bowl Bakery is planning to take part in the national "Cooking with the Wounded" program. Our partners at WBAA in West Lafayette report the two employees are hoping to make the trip next month.
They are aiming to raise a few thousand dollars to pay for travel and hotel rooms.
The Cooking with the Wounded Web site shows Yellow Bowl Bakery has already did an event at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
The program is operated by the nonprofit Soldiers' Angels organization.
