Shared-use Access along Bannock St during Special Events

Hello,

Bannock St is closed again this weekend for Cinco de Mayo. 
We have a number of bike routes that all funnel to Bannock from one side to the other. Please reference the Denver Moves Bikes Update.




I ended up riding one of the new Veo Cosmos in traffic on Colfax.

If we close the street for an event, can we please keep the sidewalk open on the West side of the street as a Shared-use connection for bike commuters & pedestrians trying to get around the event?

It just seems like a reasonable solution that could work for everyone.
