He alleged that Lenskart's technician had inaccurately determined the prescription, causing further issues. He made several online complaints and requested a refund or a replacement from Lenskart, but these requests were not met. He sought a refund, compensation for mental agony and inconvenience, and litigation expenses.
Firstly, the District Commission noted that the complainant had substantiated his claims through evidence, including an invoice, a series of online complaints, and an affidavit. Despite heeding Lenskart's advice to continue using them, his issues not only persisted but escalated due to the perceived substandard quality of the eyeglasses and frames. It further noted that the technician at Lenskart inaccurately determined the prescription for the eyeglasses.
The District Commission further observed that the complainant made diligent efforts to seek redress from Lenskart, including returning the eyeglasses for inspection and requesting a refund or replacement.

I have bought my lenskart frame from the Ahmedabad store. The frame is john Jacob's company. it is good. but the glasses are not correct means it is not according to my eye's glass number. i have submitted the proper description of my eye's number to the shop. i have bought many other frames by that my eye's description because i was moving to the USA. So, i wanted to buy 3 4 frames. So when i try this glasses, which i bought from the lenskart, i always got headache and I can feel that it is made accordingly to my eye's number.

Please please and please now deliver the glasses i ordered by any speed delivery methods so that I can get before I leave the country. You just cant play like this. I have taken appointment online. After sometimes i got mail that transaction is not successful and it happen twice. Both the time money is deducted from my account which shows in my bank statement. Return my amount.
The delivery date of my product was on 28th april but on 27th april I got an email saying that as I wasn't available my product was unable to he delivered. I ordered spectacles in Lenskart store at Phoenix Mall, Chennai on 29th-Sep-2018. I eventually had to check my eye power in the store. During power checkup, the respective person had tested my eyes with various combination of lenses. I felt dizzy and uncomfortable with it and I had mentioned to him too. But he convinced me that, It adaptability issue of my eyes and it would take time. I obliged and paid for order and left the store. After a week time, I collected the product from store, and told him, I feel uncomfortable with the lens. But he convinced me to wear that specs for 1 week, resulting in Eye irritation and Red eye. I had to visit the store to exchange it. After long explanations, they accepted to exchange it and wanted to re-check my eye power. Its only after the second eye check up, they realized about the wrongly recorded eye power. They kept my specs in shelf and promised me for an earlier exchange, which would last for 2 weeks. I agreed and left.
After 40 days, On 18-Nov-2018, I got the call from Vinoth (lenskart employee), informing me that, they have lost the latest power card. He further asked me to visit the nearest Lenskart store, get and eye check up done and share the pic of the power card. I was upset and I had done what he asked me for. I shared the power card to him over whatsapp to his number on the same day. Then next two consecutive weeks, I again called to enquire on the status, and I was not given and appreciable response.
My frame has broken within the first 5 months and i was given word that i would get a replacement or a repair if anything happens within one year of purchase and now when i visit the store all they do is state a policy saying that they are not responsible for for any physical damage.i have been going in and out of the store and have called the customer care but they are not bothering to take action and they are saying that they are not responsible again.i had purchased this specs from this store after hearing that they have got a huge variety of collections but this has really made me not wanting to step into the store again.
still the valid invoice is not issued why? Is it not a common sense to issue the appropriate invoice immediately after the shopping is done and payment is received from your end. If not what is ethics of business you are following. Very very bad attitude from lenskart.
You have to update yourself from Gurgaon office to work with seriousness and it should be always customer satisfaction goal oriented one then only once again the customer will tend to come back for next shopping. Do not to tell system problem, technical issue, bla bla to cover your mistakes. You are not to repeat this type of attitude as the customer is also not freely available for your ride. One of the Lenskart representative visited to my house and I have bought glasses with the frame John Jacobs. The representative has told that if I took Gold member ship, then another frame will be free. I have taken that gold membership . I have given 600 rupees for that that was there in my bill as well . To check my order status, I have visited the website there it was clearly mentioned the Gold Member ship was free (2 Years) for the users who have bought the frame. How can I call this as ? Is the Lenskart representative has done the fraud to the customers or not ? When I have called to the customer care, they have agreed the representative has charged money even though it's free. But they are not ready to refund the money because of their policies it seems . Who is loosing money here and how lenskart is getting money from the customers by doing fraud to customers ?
