Hi Admin Mini-Fellows,

Thanks to Bobak for leading our discussion on providers in triage (look out for his, Rush, & Roshanak's systematic review on the topic). Below are some opportunities and things we could use help with.

Mixer with Downstate Grads in Admin Roles - Late Jan 2019

• Any volunteers to help split up this list of 13 grads to invite them? I will provide a template. 
• Anyone want to help Juliana with the event planning logistics? tentatively will be a catered event on Bobak's rooftop   

Hospital administrative meetings that you might like to attend 

Join EMRA Health Policy and/or Admin/Ops Committee 

Add yourself to the 200+ resident members list-serves to stay up-to-date on events, funding opportunities, etc (don't worry you will not get that many emails)

They are also accepting applications for committee leadership positions due 1/10 (which include funded travel to ACEP & CORD).

Next meeting by Rush TBD

If you are interested in leading a discussion please let me know. Attached are some topic ideas. Discussion not intended to be centered around research or evidence. Our goal is to learn the foundations together. No prior experience necessary!

Friday there is a meeting regarding homicidal patients that present to the ED and hospital police response to these patients at 10am
