Hi all, 

We got into the app store! We're live there and our site is ready to go too! Downloading songs is like eating cotton candy now, thanks to Colin and Mike and the ballyhoo gang. 

We'd love for you to try out the app and we'll give you promo codes when the trial is up so you don't have to buy it. honestly, it is lovabbbbbble.

You should see trial behavior like a trial countdown, reminders to buy in the app store, complementary imports after trial period is over, and the app should stop functioning after your comp imports are over. 

Would be great to find any big bugs and see what you think!!! We want  you to love it. 

Some instructions: 

1. Download 
2. Unzip 
3. Run it 

4. Download songs from the internet as you normally do. Try our search in the DS menu -- it should take you to our super powered search at godownloadsongs.com/search. Right now there is a little bug where it doesn't give you your search results right away, but it should. Should be fixed next.

5. Try out skipscreen.com if you want to skip any annoying screens on rapidshare, megaupload, mediafire, etc. 

6. itunes should open up if it is not already open. Your song should 

appear in your library.

7. Repeat 5-6 as much as you want, break it if you want. 

8. You can email me directly with problems or questions.

9, If you have growl, it should pop up notifications. If you like clean desktops, we suggest letting DS trash folders.

Hi -

I should also mention that if you have the old version of DS, you will probably have to clean your computer of it. Thanks to Chris for making me aware of this part.

You won't have to do this for any version you get from here on out. 

To do that, erase the old version (probably in your applications folder) and any other supporting files, script attached if you want to run it. 

go to the following folders:

Library, Preferences, godownloadsongs. erase: downloadsongs.plist
Library, Application Support. erase: download songs

Or run this script from your terminal:
