to Download All - Chrome extension

I understand if pdf by default are not downloaded but if I change the
setting to remove this so it will download, they still do not
download. Is there a way around this that does not involve
uninstalling Acrobat reader? The pop-up window says it has downloaded
them but they are no where to be found.

Extension cannot download any file that Chrome opens. PDF files are downloaded instead of opened when Adobe Reader is uninstalled. So there is no other way to download them then uninstall Reader.
