Download location NOT working

I've changed the download location in my settings, and it says it's
downloading images, but when i check that folder there's NO downloads.
And i've tried a few different folders. Is there something missing?

This just feels like a half thought out tool with the need to go to
google settings so much... frustrating since it would have so much
usage!

I noticed it's opening them as a frame at the bottom of the page
instead of downloading them, even though I've set it not to open JPGs

This isn't working at all like advertised. Might be time you make
videos of how to set it up to download JPGs properly!

Hi,

it's written in the description. This extension doesn't work for JPGs. And it will never work unless Google changes API for extensions, which are pretty restricted now. 

Extension doesn't work for any files which can be opened by Chrome itself (such as images, pdfs, ...). It works just for files which are downloaded by default (doc, xls, java, ...)
