to Download All - Chrome extension
maybe i'm not set up correctly,but when i want to download all, why
does it want a specific file type? i thought download all for chrome
would work the same as mozilla's. when you click download all, a
window pops up and shows you all the files available to download on
that web page. you just have to click the boxes.

Nope, API for Chrome is not that powerful as for Firefox, so this is not possible. Extension works just for specific file types (the ones Chrome cannot open).
