Pretty sure all an agree that this tournament was not as advertised (see the website below for the craft brewers, cash prizes, battle of the bands, etc.). When John Marks and I pulled up we thought we just got scammed (we kinda did get scammed) . My apologies for a less than advertised event yet my thanks for each of you who made it. Condolences to Franco on the loss of his Mom (we sent a game shirt home with Ahmad). Thank you to Tony and Owen (our youngsters) for their energy and good play. Thanks to all who traveled (especially our shrink- Bob and Marvin-who came in from the Midwest). JR- the other teams are pissed you ate ¾ of a “lamb” yourself. Ahmad thinks it may not have been a lamb but possible a German Shepherd cooked by the Korean lady we saw at the Ontario House. Hope you have good legal counsel and gastro-intestinal Dr. . Mike- we all hurt with you re: your knees and can see that you love to play the game (even at your own expense). Enjoyed meeting and playing with each of you and will keep you posted on future events. Each of you played well…and we got better after getting used to each others’ styles.
Sorry we did not have a game on Sunday and sorry you had to drink mango, Blueberry and strawberry beers (yuck).

The schedule is going through several iterations for obvious reasons. It will be ready early next week. I'll be in touch. One thing for sure, your over 60 team has a game on Friday evening at 5:45pm against a team from Burlington Ontario Canada called Kopites.Check out the Itinerary I sent to you, the Meet & Greet at Ontario House (Stone Jug) serves as check in. You can submit your roster then or online or before your first game.
The Tournament Rules are posted on our website www.gorgesclassic.com. They will also be included in the tournament program which you will receive upon your arrival in Niagara.
One thing I'll like to mention is that AT&T and T-Mobile phones don't work very well at Fort Niagara State Park. Verizon phones work well there.
