Greetings All!
Sunday's weather is partly cloudy, 47F. So, please plan to play Sunday morning 7AM @ Fellowship Fields Lower Turf (241 Fellowship Rd., Chester Springs, PA 19425). Please don't forget to bring water and two shirts (one WHITE and one DARK), NO gray, stripes, etc.
Note:
Penn Fusion has reserved the field at 9AM for the foreseeable future, and all our other fields remained closed for now, therefore, we’ll need to start early until the other fields open this spring, or we find a new location.
FYI:
Eagleview – Closed
Exton – Closed
Shamona – Closed
Pickering Valley (Larkin’s Field) – Closed
Hickory Park (351 Park Rd., Chester Springs) – Closed
Johnsontown Park Fields (98 Viaduct Ave, Downingtown) – We’ve played here before, but current status is unknown.
Parkside Soccer Fields (100 Water Plant Way, Downingtown) – We’ve played here before, but current status is unknown.
Kerr Park (35 W Pennsylvania Ave, Downingtown) – We’ve played here before, but current status is unknown. (no lines, no nets, etc., just large grassy field)
East Brandywine Township Community Park (440 Dilworth Road, Downingtown) – Never played here, so current status is unknown.
West Pikeland Township Park (Near 851 Walnut Lane/intersection of 401 and 113) – Never played here, apparently it’s brand new, not much info online, so current status is Closed.
Battle of the clouds park (133 Phoenixville Pike, Malvern, PA 19355) – Open, but no nets, no lines, etc. and it’s not a full-size field.
Miller Park (220 Miller Way, Exton, PA 19341) – Open, but it’s not an athletic field, just an open grassy area, with no nets, lines, goals, etc.
P.S. – If you know of other fields that are open and available in our area on Sunday mornings (9-11ish), let me know. Please do not reply to the entire group, just send to me. Also, please don’t simply ask me “what about X or Y?”. Only provide locations that you’re confident are open and available. I don’t have time to drive all over the county checking out locations and looking at websites regarding park schedules, policies, etc.
Thanks All - Phil
