Symphony of Psalms (Stravinsky)
I: Psalm 38: 13-14
Exaudi orationem meam, Domine, | Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Et deprecationem meam. | And give ear to my cry.
Auribus percipe lacrimas meas ne sileas. | Hold not your peace at my tears.
Quoniam advena ego sum apud te et peregrinus. | For I am a stranger with you and a wanderer.
Sicut omnes patres mei. | As all my fathers were.
Remite mihi, ut refrigerer | O spare me, that I may recover my strength,
Priusquam abeam et amplius non ero. | Before I go hence and be no more.

II: Psalm 39: 2-4
Expectans expectavi Dominum et intendit mihi  | I waited patiently for the Lord and he stooped to me
Et audivit preces mihi. | And heard my cry.
Et eduxit me de lacu miseriae | And lifted me out of the desolate pit
Et de luto faecis. | Out of the mire and clay.
Et statuit super petram pedes meos: | And he set my feet upon a rock
Et direxit gressus meos. | And made my footing sure.
Et immisit in os meum canticum novum, | And put a new song in my mouth,
Carmen Deo nostro. | A song of praise to our God.
Videbunt multi, videbunt et timebunt | Many shall see it, see it and fear,
Et sperabunt, sperabunt in Domino. | And put their trust in the Lord.

III: Psalm 150
Alleluia. Laudate Dominum in sanctis Eius. | Hallelujah. Praise the Lord in His sanctuary.
Laudate Eum in firmamento virtutis Eius. | Praise Him in the firmament of His power.
Laudate Eum in virtutibus Eius, | Praise Him for His mighty acts,
Laudate Eum secundum multitudinem magnitudinis Eius. | Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
Laudate Eum in sono tubae. | Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet.
Laudate Eum in timpano et choro | Praise Him with the timbrel and dance.
Laudate Eum in cordis et organo, | Praise Him with strings and organ.
Laudate Eum in cymbalis jubilationis. | Praise Him with joyful cymbals.
Omnis spiritus laudet Dominum. | Let everything that breathes praise the Lord.
Laudate Dominum. | Praise the Lord.
