Highly recommended Vivaldi history video

Last week, Hayden Sears wrote to the group about a BBC documentary about Antonio Vivaldi. I write to encourage you to watch this program. It's long, but it covers a huge amount of history and personal information about Vivaldi and the orphanage where he worked.

There's a performance of the Vivaldi Gloria first. It features women's voices, so it's not the kind of sound we'll make when we perform this piece. The history part of the documentary starts at approximately 38 minutes into the program.
