Hi Anita,

I hope you are well! I wanted to invite you to a Halcyon show that Sophie and I have been spending the better part of a year putting together, we're sharing it at The Waldo Theatre in Waldoboro on Saturday, July 8th at 7:30PM. 

We're sharing a really interesting program of music that includes everything from Hildegard von Bingen to Glass and Bartok. I'll be projecting film that I put together behind Halcyon as they play and then joining them for a final musical number. We'll also share a stop motion animation piece that Sophie and I spent hours and hours of this past mud season putting together. You can see a snippet of that here!

The concert started out as an attempt to distill the most recent IPCC report into a concert and then developed into a broader look at how humans relate to the environment, it takes a deep dive into exploring how we got into the pickle we're in with climate change and what needs to be done about it.

We're really excited about this performance and would love to share it with you and anyone at DES you think may be interested! You can find more info/tickets here.
