Dear Friends,

Soon we will begin work on Franz Biebl's Ave Maria - one of the early 20th century's most beautiful Christmas motets that involves lush harmonic writing.

In order to help you learn this piece I've compiled some web addresses on YouTube that you might find interesting. This is by no means an exhaustive list. There are many more to watch and/or listen to.

Note that the first one is actually like Cyberbass or Choralia: It offers you your own part played (electronically) with the other parts in the background. And the score is displayed on your screen as it plays. Not bad for the price (free!)

More and more, YouTube offers us a wealth of recordings to help us learn pieces. We are very fortunate to have this.
