Hi Everybody,
THE DASH IS ON!
Thorpe Pastures (our car park) looks good. There is some rain expected during this week, but all should be good for Sunday.
Registration opens at 9 am, the main race starts at 11 am. Please come early ! Traffic can be quite busy… Please share cars where possible.
When you register please write your name clearly. This year we will again attempt to have full finishing results on the web site the week after the race… Also when you cross the finish line please keep going into the 'airport style' queuing system as fast as you can, hopefully that will avoid queues and makes it possible for everyone to have a time.
We also have a children’s race (Mini Dash) for under 8s and under 10s. This race is just over 1 mile around Thorpe cloud, up Lindale to the main finish. The children’s race starts at 10 am.
Entry fee for adults £5 and for children £3. The Mini Dash is £2.
The river Dove isn’t too high. There is quite a bit of mud around !! That’s what we want for the Dash….
