Just wanted to give my thanks for finally taking the time to update
this add-on. Its such a handy ext. and the only one of its kind too.
(at least for now) Its been in need of some updating tho for some time
now. It really needed a way so people could customize what they want
to see, and now thats in is even better!

Well all I have left to say is that I hope you find some more cool
stats to put in the StatusEX bar(like the firefox mem for ex). Oh and
Kudos on all the recent updates! Some people may bitch about alwaysh
having to update, but I say the more the better! More updates means
for bug fixes right? heh, ;-)

-Josh

PS,
Thanks for also making a page for this add-on...that little bit of
info about about possibly needing C++ really made all the difference
for me AND quite a few of my friends. :P

Thanks for your support! And in version 0.2.6, it can display the memory firefox used. And I'll  update it soon! :-)

Cool another update today! I was having a few probs last night with
2.6 but all is well now. :D

The only other thing I wanted to suggest is the option to change
between an alt font or just change it to something easier to read for
machines with high resolution.
Oh and maybe work on the spacing between the up/down speed and the
firefox memory indicator. Just seems like there is a bit too much
space. :P

Good luck!

- Josh

Thanks for your suggestion, I don't have a machine with high resolution, so I can't test the font. When you select to 'fix string length', a fixed width font is selected, so it maybe different from other font on the statusbar. I choose courier new as the fixed width font.

OK, I understand now. Looks much better(for me) without the 'fixed
string width' checked.(although Tahoma would be nice... :D)

One question tho... When looking at 'Memory Firefox used | Firefox CPU
usage' and I see 86M and later 89, then 100+ ect... My question is,
that amount I see in MB's, is that calculating the about of memory
firefox has used in any one session? Or is it calculating the current
memory being used by firefox at any one moment? I believe it the
first, but I wanted to be sure.

Great work,

-Josh

Hi,

Yes, Tohoma looks nice, but unfortunately it is not a fixed width font, so if I use it, the 'fixed string lenght' won't work.

The amount of memory firefox used is the total memory used by the running firefox.exe, which is fetched by the WIN32 API GetProcessMemoryInfo(...).

I hope these information can help :-)

Thank you for your feedback!

So basically the amount of MB's will continue to increase the longer I
am using firefox during each session....?

It seems ... yes, the amount of memory used by fx increases continuously. We hope this 'feature' can be fixed in the next version of firefox (3.0). :)
