Long latency time between SIPML5 client and Asterisk server

Hello,
I am working on a communication system between a client (SIPML5) and an Asterisk server.
I have an issue with operability: I have a long latency time (about 20 sec. minimum) on the call between the SIPML5 client and the Asterisk server through a WSS protocol (with TLS encryption).
Do you have an idea of where it is coming from ? or a solution?
