Hi ,

I had installed Asterisk 11 with webrtc2sip following the steps in this link , found in the wiki of simpl5 . I have successfully made a call between Google Chrome Version 25.0.1364.172 (using the demo of sipml5 ) and other softphone (X-lite) registered to Asterisk. I get audio in both ways so my installation is fine.

The problem I have is that I want to manage in Asterisk the caller id sent from the demo of sipml5, but there is not any caller id going to Asterisk, it is empty. I thought that filling the field "Display Name" in the form of the demo of sipml5 I will get that string as caller id in Asterisk, but it was still empty .

I checked out the console in Google Chrome and I see that the sip header "Contact" has the string I set in "Display Name", but the sip header "From" doesn't have it. After a quick search in Google it seems that the sip header "From" is the desired to have the caller id.

The lack of caller id in the sip header "From", is  a bug? If not, how can I get the value of "Display Name" in Asterisk?

Thanks for your help.
