UltimateALPR 3.0.0-rc1 released

Hello,
For information we have released UltimateALPR 3.0.0-rc1.
This version is faster (3x on x86 CPUs), more accurate and comes
with new features.
Some important points worth mentioning:
- Support for OpenVINO
and Intel devices (CPUs, VPUs, GPUs, FPGAs...). The code
is now 3 times faster on some x86 CPUs compared to
version 2.x.x.
- Vehicle
Make Model Recognition (VMMR). Will be updated in the
coming days to improve the accuracy.
- Vehicle
Color Recognition (VCR)
- License
Plate Country Identification (LPCI)
- More accurate OCR model
- More countries (Tunisia, United Arab Emirates,
Kyrgyzstan...)

We are already working to improve the accuracy and adding new
features like Vehicle
Direction Tracking (VDT) and Vehicle
Speed Estimation (VSE).
You can check the speed and accuracy on your own machine using the code released on Github (https://github.com/DoubangoTelecom/ultimateALPR-SDK) or our online demo web app hosted at https://www.doubango.org/webapps/alpr (cacheless version at https://www.doubango.org/webapps/alpr-30/).
We have updated our licensing model an pricing, more info at
https://www.doubango.org/pricing.html.
To give you an idea about the accuracy and speed, we tried the SDK on a very challenging video (4K size, single camera, cars moving fast, 6-lane highway, overlapping boxes, 2 directions[front/back]...) to monitor a very large area.

For information we have updated the code to replace 3.0.0-rc1
with 3.0.0-rc2.
This fix issue
#88.
We highly recommend updating your code if you're using
version 3.0.0-rc1 with VCR
or VMMR
enabled. You can ignore the release for any other use case.
