Use UltimateALPR with USA License Plates and more queries

Hi,

Is there any option in the configuration to

1. Read Only USA specific License Plates.

2. Not to read text on paper.

3. Most of the time Android SDK gets confused when it comes to scanning digits like O/Q/0, 4/7/Z, P/R ,B/8. Is this the known issue in reading characters? How can we fix this issue?

4. Is there any way to increase/decrease camera Zoom or Focus using UltimateALPR?

5. Using 2 application with different package name on same device will be consider as 2 license consume or one?

No and there is no known issues for US plates. You should not need such option.

Please share 3 to 4 images reproducing the issue for us to evaluate if it’s normal for the engine to confuse the letters. Please also note that the server (x86) version is better (more accurate) than the mobile (arm)

No, this is out of scoop. We only provide an ANPR SDK. Read Android documentation on how to change camera zoom.

5. Using 2 application with different package name on same device will be consider as 2 license consume or one?

Quote from the activation mail you received when you purchased the licenses:

"As explained at https://www.doubango.org/pricing.html, the license depends on the device identifier. To make sure the device identifier won't change:
    1/ Always use the same signing keys (release or debug) to update your application. So, make sure not to loose your signing keys.
    2/ Do not change the application unique identifier.
    3/ We highly recommend not doing a factory reset on the device.

           I mean the current version of  UltimateALPR sdk scan all region of license plates, can we restrict it to scan only USA based License Plates only.

2. Not to read text on paper.

           I mean If you hold white paper with text like "PARKITM" in front of camera using Ultimate ALPR, it considered this as License plate.

As said in my previous message, you cannot.

Easy fix: Don’t “hold white paper with text like "PARKITM" in front of camera using Ultimate ALPR”

More seriously: This is a false-positive, you will have it with all ANPR sdks. You can check if the plate is attached to a car or not and discard it.

Hi,

We are facing the issue that UltimateALPR sdk focus gets blurred(see attached image) and does not scan the license plates. Is there any solution to overcome this problem? 

Is there any way to remove duplicate scanning of license plates?
