Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR/ALPR)

Hi,

We are planning to integrate Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR/ALPR) into an Android application distributed directly (not Google Play) to a fixed set of devices.

Before purchasing licenses, we have a few questions regarding the licensing model:

1. If a user uninstalls and then reinstalls the application on the same device, will the license remain valid and automatically reactivate, or does it need to be reissued?

2. If a device is replaced (e.g. broken or lost), is there any grace period or process to transfer or reissue the license to the new device, given that the license is stated as non-transferable?

3. Is Firebase App Distribution a supported distribution channel for the per-device mobile license, or is it restricted to Google Play Store distribution only?

Hi,

1. On Android the license depends on the device, developer signing keys, the application id and the user account. The license will remain valid after re-install as long as the quadruplet is the same

2. No transfer is possible

3. App distribution doesn't matter

We have some additional questions regarding the licensing model:

1. Will you provide separate licenses per device, or a single master license that allows dynamic licensing across different devices?
2. How can we track the number of licenses currently in use?
3. Do you have any recommendations for the SDK activation process to ensure that developers do not unintentionally consume or lose a license during development and testing?

We have a license manager to track used licenses. A device cannot be activated twice.
