Hi,

Can anyone help me installing the SDK on a raspberry pi?

first I had the issue "TypeError: super() takes at least 1 argument (0 given)” but by installing python 3.7.3 everything went well.

But the question is: which (and how) dependencies do I have to install before I can use your examples?

I want to test this on a Raspberry Pi 4 - Raspbian 10 with camera if I am be able to read license plates in real time video..

Hi,

There is no dependency to worry about. On RPI the only sample is the one accepting and image as input and returning the result as JSON string.

Only Android comes with realtime video processing sample. For RPI you'll need OpenCV or something else. It's very easy -> https://www.doubango.org/SDKs/anpr/docs/Getting_started.html#opencv

Important: Please note that you'll not go far with Python if you want to dev a realtime app. You'll need to go with C++ for maximum perfs -> https://www.doubango.org/SDKs/anpr/docs/Frequently_Asked_Questions_(FAQ).html#why-the-recognizer-application-is-slow

Regards,
