A license costs 39 euro, we have to sell thousands
not hundreds per year to make it viable. I don't know what's
you're company name but I see that you're sending mails about
VIM3 since June 2024. In 2024 it was already clear that we'd not
update the OS for VIM3.
I understand your frustration and I'm sorry for that. Our refund policy has always been very clear: We give full refund (stripe fees included) to any request on unused licenses regardless when a license was purchased. So, send a mail to the support team and they'll give you refund.
For TextInTheWild: we haven't made it
public because there are many companies with same product and
doing it better than us.
This is really a bad attitude. I have also tried to get doubango to update VIM3 so that it can run the latest Ubuntu OS. We can sell hundreds of cameras if doobango wanted to update their models, but you just get rejected. We cannot sell cameras to customers with an outdated Ubuntu OS from 2019, they will not accept that. We have already bought doubango licenses that we cannot use.
We are willing to pay for the VIM3 models to be up to date, so name a price. VIM3 is very cheap compared to Jetson and does not take up much space.
The same applies to their "TextInWild" which we would also like to use. It has been in beta for over a year and there is no indication that it will come out of beta. --
