Dear Dou Community,
Hope you all are doing well. My Japan trip has been a very spiritual and
special one, and I’ll be back in NY on Thursday. I hope I can see you
all in person soon!
We have two beautiful offerings coming up that I’m so excited to share
with you:
✨ Boundary Workshop with Rachel
🗓️ Date: This coming Sunday November 9th 7-8:30pm
Join Dou member & Feminist Self-Defense founder, Rachel Piazza, for a
unique boundary-setting workshop that invites you to reconnect with the
wisdom of your body and strengthen your ability to set verbal and
physical boundaries with greater ease.
Setting boundaries can be extraordinarily difficult, yet it’s one of the
most essential acts of self-care we can practice. Through guided
movement, reflection, and simple self-defense principles, you’ll learn
how to honor your own needs while deepening connection with others.
Come join us for an evening of self-exploration, empowerment, and
community connection, it’ll be very meaningful, valuable, and fun to
share space together.
🌸 300HR Training — Starting February 2026
Our next 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training begins this coming February.
This program isn’t just about learning new techniques or becoming a more
skillful teacher — it’s about deepening your own practice, exploring how
yoga can be lived and embodied in daily life, and discovering how your
teaching can arise from your truest self.
Through self-inquiry, mindful study, and guided mentorship, we’ll
explore how to bring the wisdom of practice off the mat and into how we
live, relate, and share.
If you’ve been feeling the desire to grow, reconnect with your purpose,
or simply return to the heart of your practice, this training offers a
supportive path to do so — surrounded by a community that values
authenticity, curiosity, and care. If you resonate with what we offer at
Dou, we would love for you to join our teacher training family and
continue walking this mindful path together.
This training requires a 200-hour certification, and if you know someone
who might be a great fit, please feel free to invite them into our
community.
Hope you all can join.
Keep supporting, keep growing — together.
with Love,
Shieri
