Happy New Year to all from all of us in FauxFranconia.
It’s a wonderfully frantic week for us Faux types, and we hope you’ll be part of it. Wednesday, of course, we’re at Sitwell’s Coffee House at 8pm for our usually unusual swingfest. Friday evening at 9pm, we’re at Washington Platform downtown for our second “Friday Nights Live” show, a thriving new Cincy jazz event hosted by Mike Scharfe. Saturday, we’re live on WNKU-FM’s “Music With Brian O’D” about 11am; 89.7FM in greater Cincy, or www.wnku.org to listen live.
Then, Sunday January 20, we’re at Xavier University’s Gallagher Theatre for our third “Masters of Swing” series concert. This is an outstanding series, and a chance to hear us do what we do in a great-sounding concert setting. Tickets available by clicking on the link.
And finally, we’re once again honored to be nominated in the“Jazz” category for a City Beat Cincinnati Entertainment Award. Vote here.
