Since there are (a few) actual upcoming psycodots shows, I created a
web page at the Google Group website to list these, for easy
reference. Thanks for the suggestion, Kevin.

There are lots of bands with "bears" in the name. Most of them are
pretty obscure, but if you go to allmusic.com and do an artist search
on Bears, you'll see at least a dozen listed. Some of the more
prominent ones are the Art Bears, a 70s/80s English art-punk band, and
Bears, the one Jim's link refers to that are currently active.

Some of the really obscure ones include Bearsuit, Clay Bears, Bruce
Bears, Crazy Bears, Heady Bears, Honey Bears, Polar Bears, Sugar
Bears, Teddy Bears, Three Bears, the Lonely Bears, Mostly Bears... and
there's more.

That's kind of why I posted the link in the first place... to see if anyone else was familiar with
bears (not THE). Until I received a CD Baby link about this band from a friend, I was unaware of
the band. Even more surprised that they're from Ohio!

 The Indy show will be May the 15th... we do not have a time and they are only penciled in for one set at this point. From our stand point ( IMS ) I think there is time for them to do two sets if the guys will agree to that. I will post a time as soon it is set. Thanks for spreading the word about the show I look forward to seeing you all there.

Hey, odd question here....my entire family loves the dots...kids have
been singing their tunes since they were little. My boys are now 13
& 15...they’ve seen the dots at public events but not a full onslaught
of tunes....would it be appropriate to bring the kids to Canal Street
Saturday? Never would consider Southgate, but Canal seems
tamer...I’ve tried to call Canal Street bit they never answer the damn
phone.

I’ve seen kids there before but they were Rob’s son and friends...so,
any suggestions would be cool...

Typically, these shows are 21 and over but I just checked their web site and couldn't find information regarding age restrictions.  If you can send a message on their online Contact form, you could try that - or try calling them later in the evening when things are hoppin'.

it reads:

"There is nothing like a psychodots show at Canal Street - in your
face & always a few surprises. Bring the family!"

which sounds like at least the band is open to younger attendees. But
let's see what Mr. Murphree is able to glean from his buddies in the
band (hey Rob, good to hear from you! What's new?)
